About State Rep. Alma Allen

Representative Allen is an Educator from Houston, Texas. She holds a BS Degree and a Master of Education Degree from Texas Southern University and a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston. She worked as a teacher, principal, and in central administration for Houston ISD for 39 years. Representative Allen has served in the Texas House of Representatives since 2005.
